Salary is crucial because of the CBA. You can't spend unlimited, and the Jazz are not typically willing to even spend the max the CBA allows them, so bang for your buck is huge! Otherwise Howard and CP3 in Miami or wherever.

I threw out the PER numbers because the best bang for your buck non rookie guys had average PER numbers, so I didn't give it much weight. The Win Shares had a lot more stars and superstars at the top of the list.

I did my best not to cherry pick, but I would be interested to hear any other insights which is why I posted it in the first place.
