Thee Jazz Fan's case:
My team was built to be very versatile, filled with lots of defense shooting and playmaking, with a lot of muscle inside.
My team is lead by my two star players, Harden, and Aldridge, two of the most dynamic offensive players in the league. Both will put immense pressure on the defense.
Harden is one of the best at getting to the rim and either finishing in traffic or getting to the ft line. Two years ago he averaged 10fts shot, and last year he got to the ft line 9 times a game. Harden also might be the best playmaking sg in the league, who also will score 25pts per game.
Aldridge can beat you inside and out, and has a variety of unstoppable offensive moves inside and out. Not many have a more deadly fadeaway from 15ft out then Aldridge. Also Aldridge can play both front court positions, adding more versatility to my team.
In today's NBA you need at least a couple dynamic stars to lead your team, and I have a couple of the best in Harden and Aldridge. Under their leadership the team will fall in line, and take responsibility in playing their roles to perfection
Team philosophy:
My team will run a half court style of play forcing the opposing team to play at my speed, and with Harden and Aldridge I have two of the better half court players, which will help my team be very efficient in the half court. Both Conley and Harden have experience running the half court system, both can create for themselves and others, both get 6 assists a game, and can drive to the hoop. Harden and Conley along with sharp shooter Parsons can stretch the floor making plenty of room for Harden and Conley to drive the hoop, also don't forget I can play Harden at pg alongside Afflalo who was a 42% 3pt shooter. This gives plenty of room for Aldridge and Favors to operate in the post. Both Favors and Aldridge are very good in pick'n roll, Aldridge aso geting pick'n pop oppertunities.
BENCH:
The bench brings a change of pace, and more defense on the perimeter. Smart and Afflalo are some of the better, and aggressive man defenders in the back court, which will disrupt the other teams second unit, allowing my team to pull away and grab momentum. Gallinari is very underrated, at 6-10 he can play either sf or stretch4 very good shooter, can put the ball on the floor and get to the rim, and a good not great defender. He will play some at the 4 with Aldridge at center to create more space for Aldridge to operate in the post. Smith is an uptempo player being one of the uber athletic players, and better Dunkers and finishers in the league, as Smith is not a very good shooter he will pretty much stick to playing the 4. This is a great defender, and one of the few players that can slow down the LBJ's Durant's, and Carmello's., and can guard 1 through 4. Great help defender and shot blocker who will get his share of steals and rebounds. Valanciunas is my wild card. He's young and had a great season last year, and could be due for a break out year this year. Valanciunas is a physical specimen of a center very strong and athletic player, and has lots of mobility, who is also tough for anyone to stop while being a good low post defender.
All in all there is a lot of versatility on my team. Favors, Gallinari, Smith, Aldridge can play the 4 spot while Favors, Aldridge, and Valanciunas can play center, with many of my wings being able to play and guard multiple positions as well. Harden can play some point with Smart moving to sg, and Afflalo moving over and guarding 3's as well.
My team is a team that slows down games and makes the apposing team play at our pace, but when needed this team can also play uptempo, above the rim basketball, with plenty of long distance shooting.
