Really hate the construction of both teams, but one has Lebron James and the other starts Jae Crowder.
I disagree. I edited to add my point. Lebron factor is overrated. It has been proven that he is not the guaranteed ticket to winning everything.
I honestly don’t know. Two really good teams.
Jokic/Horford definitely help neutralize some of Gobert/KAT’s strength. Both can take Gobert away from the rim, and Horford can actually defend whereas KAT is a sieve. Jokic is worse defensively, but Gobert can’t take advantage of that.
I don't really like Jokic/Horford as a pairing. They are both pretty slow. And neither is a good rim defender. Horford will be 33 next year and isn't quite the defender he used to be, especially at the 4. Jokic is a terrible defender.
But in this matchup it works fine and let's them play to their strengths and the other team doesn't take advantage of the weakness.
It's an easy vote for Sil in this one.
But, will LeBron slow down finally? Probably not but maybe. Will Horford slow down? Yes.
Will Conley get back to the player he was? No, yr will never be as good as he was 2 years ago. But probably he will be a 16 ppg 5 assist 31 year old PG. I'm curious how many games he actually plays as well and if he finishes the year with his team. Memphis will probably reboot if they are not competitive mid season.
Yes, he is a good defender. He is slowing down and I think that will be more so next year. I also don't think he is a great rim defender. I also don't think he is a good defender at the 4 spot as much but in this matchup there are 2 centers.Wasn't Horford in the conversation for DPOY?
I just won’t vote for a team that doesn’t bother to do a writeup.
Glad to have your vote by default!I just won’t vote for a team that doesn’t bother to do a writeup.
