He has 4 starters who put up stats on bad teams and a PG who is notorious for playing very poorly in 7 game series (which is what these competitions are, right?).

The same could be said about Lowry could said about DeRozan, but Wade/Irving/Aldridge/Bogut have playoff reputations.

One big fault in OL's makeup is his backup PF is awful. David West was a poor choice. I would be much more tempted to vote for him if he put in a more exciting backup PF who he could bring in and push Aldridge to the 5 for some minutes. Bogut is a good starter, but his minutes have to be limited and I just don't know about CHandler anymore.

I'd say it was pretty even. It was Irvings worst series. But like I said, whenever he has to run a team, they do poorly. If he's the best player on your team, you're in trouble.

I really dislike lowry. And I really like kyrie.
For me, there is a huge disparity in talent there.

Just because you really like someone and really dislike the other one doesn't mean there is a talent disparity.

I'd say it was pretty even. It was Irvings worst series. But like I said, whenever he has to run a team, they do poorly. If he's the best player on your team, you're in trouble.

Lowry was saved by putting up two huge games that made his averages look better. He also two games where he went 4/14 and did nothing. You are acting like he was the best player and the only playmaker, he isnt, he runs the team equally with Derozan. And while Derozan was also largely crap during the playoffs, he actually played well vs the Cavs and it was more of Lowry who dropped teh ball having 3 really bad games in the series.

He voted for those who voted for him, and against those who voted against him. He did not vote in matchups where the contenders haven't yet voted on his matchup, as he's still waiting.

I'm sure that will change now that I pointed it out. But it's a real douche thing to do.

I would have voted for OL if he did these two things:

1. Instead of drafting Thomas drafted a solid shooting wing who could play both ways, moving Derozan or Wade to a 6th man role
2. Had someone better than David West as a backup 4.

Just stating facts:

Only two players on JTT's team made the playoffs last year.

Stacking up on players who put up stats on bad teams is a solid strategy if no one notices.

Look, his best player is Irving. Irving can't lead a team, doesn't create for others well, and plays porous defense. Meh. I just think my team is easily better.

You didn't understand what I meant when I said like.

I don't know either guy personally.
When I say that I like irving and don't like lowry I'm actually talking about their game/talent.

I don't think lowry is nearly as good of a basketball player as irving.
