Team Saint Cy of JFC:

PG - Goran Dragic / Brandon Knight
SG - Gordon Hayward / Courtney Lee
SF - Kevin Durant / Andrew Wiggins
PF - Tristan Thompson / Otto Porter
C - Nikola Jokic / Brook Lopez

Team Dr. Jones:

SF - LeBron James / Thaddeus Young
PF - Greg Monroe / Ben Simmons
C - Derrick Favors / Gorgui Dieng

Pffft.

Dr. Jones in a Hillary-esque landslide.

This matchup isn't even fair.

Bring on Round 3 please.

Gonna think about this one. But, Peeks, I really don't like Monroe in your starting line-up. FWIW.

I am conflicted as well, tbh.

I went back and forth between Monroe (shooting) and Simmons (facilitating/elite passer), but went Monroe because with Lebron, Booker, and McCollum I opted for more stretch and less playmaking. Have plenty of playmaking.

This one's really tough for me. I hate Monroe in Peek's starting lineup. He would have been better off with Thaddeus Young there imo. He already has enough shooting, playmaking, and scoring. Young could be his scrappy, selfless guy. That said, I think I'm still leaning his way. I trust Lebron getting good play out of his supporting cast better than I do Durant getting big shots out of Dragic, Hayward and Jokic.

I like Cy's lineup much better with Jokic and Thompson starting with Hayward and Durant on the wings. PG is still weak, but his 2-5 starting and bench is as good or better than any other team in the competition.

Gotta go with Cy on this one. Really solid team.

Dr. Jones starting lineup has four advantages over Cy. This one isn't even close.

1) You're wrong

2) you can't look at a team in a vacuum like that. Have to factor in strengths/weaknesses and how they play together. For example, Monroe is probably a better player than Thonpson....but given the team fit, Yhonpson is much better than Monroe. Ya feel me?

Cy has a bunch of good on ball players, one star, one of the best rebounders in the game, and a big who is good at shooting, defense, rebounding and passing. Plus a great bench. His adjustments have made his team a ton better. Meanwhile Doc's backcourt is horrendous defensively. Bron is good on defense, as is Favors...Montoe is awful. They'll get shredded on defense. Two good defenders isn't enough. Plus, Montoe and Favs occupy the same space on offense, plus Bron essentially plays inside the lane on offense. Despite McCollum and Booker (poor shooter last year btw), he has spacing issues.

His given lineup shouldn't matter. You can play coach and adjust it in your mind.

I'm auto-voting Dr. this entire thing. He clearly built the best lineup.

Case against The Stupidest Name Change in JF history:

Durant has choked so many times. They had a significant lead on GSW and he chocked, bad. He chokes every playoff series.

Hayward is a choke magnate. You want to pair choke with choke?

I gave you props for this pairing against another team, but against LeBron and McCollum, with Favors and Monroe completely demolishing your top, it's not even close. But it would be cute to watch and listen to their fans as they could challenge a little.

Actually I can look at teams in a vacuum like that and I will.

Pairing LeBron with McCollum and Booker = mass buckets. Plus Favors down low defending and rebounding?

Game over.

Lmao at the spacing issue comment. Probably one of the stupidest comments I've read in these things.
