Team White Chocolate:

PG - Stephen Curry / Derrick Rose
SG - Klay Thompson / Kyle Korver
SF - Danny Green / Michael Kidd-Gilchrist
PF - Marvin Williams / Dirk Nowitzki
C - Andre Drummond / Greg Monroe

Team addictionary:

PG - Ricky Rubio / Ish Smith / Elfrid Payton
SG - Avery Bradley / Jonathon Simmons
SF - Jimmy Butler / Thabo Sefolosha
PF - Serge Ibaka
C - Hassan Whiteside / Dewayne Dedmon

White Chocolate's Case:

I wanted to build a team that spaces the floor well and has multiple three-point shooters on the court.

Stephen Curry - 43.3% from three on 10.6 attempts a game over the past 2 seasons.

Klay Thompson - 42% from three on 8.2 attempts a game over the past 2 seasons.

Danny Green - 35.6% from three on 4.5 attempts a game over the past 2 seasons.

Marvin Williams - 37.6% from three on 4.7 attempts a game over the past 2 seasons.

It's proven what the Steph/Klay combo have done together on the court and those two will create up a ton of open shots for Green and Williams.

In addition to these players I have the best rebounder in the league in Drummond to clean up their misses.

The league leader in double-doubles for the past 3 seasons is Andre Drummond with 163.

The key matchup to me is Andre Drummond vs. Hassan Whiteside. They have played each other 9 times in the past 3 seasons. Here are their head-to-head stats:

Andre Drummond - 13.2 PPG, 15.9 RPG, 2.3 BPG, and 1.4 SPG on 52.4% from the field in 32.6 minutes per game.

Hassan Whiteside - 12.8 PPG, 11.2 RPG, 3.2 BPG, and 0.6 SPG on 51% from the field on 29.7 minutes per game.

Danny Green was named to the NBA All-Defensive Second Team this past season and he will be the primary defender on Jimmy Butler.

I have a much better bench than addy does and he doesn't even have a back-up power forward.

Bench: Dewayne Dedmon, Thabo, Jonathon Simmons, Ish Smith, Elfrid Payton

These guys are very good at what they do. Google them.

I just had fun gathering this team together. Finally a team that won't have liability on D whoever is on the court. Well of course they are not as shiny as other gathered teams but I'm sure on reality they'd give their opposition heck of a run for their monnney.

I'll have to think about this. Tough one. I like Addi better, but WC has that 1-2 KO.

I'm gonna go with Addi. It's a tougher, more well rounded, team. I don't think WC's two Stars will be quite enough to overcome Addi in a 7 game series. Outside of Curry and Thompson, WC just doesn't have enough firepower.

I'd love watching Rubio creating opportunities for all of those shooters. Addis team is good.

This for me is the toughest match-up. So close. WC's team is full of shooters, while Rubio, Avery and Butler doesn't provide enough outside shooting. Match-up could go either way depending on whether Curry/Thompson can make those 3's. That's why it's such a tough match-up, it's the uncertainty of it.

Then I'd have to look at the bench. And the problem I have with Addi's team is nobody is backing up Serge who is getting on a bit now. And Dedmon is still pretty raw - so the frontcourt goes to WC. Then Rose is gonna take Ish Smith's lunch. Add to that Nowitzki knocking down 3's in the corner.

With the slightest of edge I'll give it to WC.

One Love makes some great points. So that said, I expect OL and all his alts to vote for me if I ever participate.

Addy, I respect the defensive focus of your team; it's Jazztonian. And we all hope that works for Utah. But even if I think defense will negate offense amongst the starters, I think WC has a better bench. And I just don't understand going with Smith AND Payton as backups with a 10-man squad and not drafting a PF or combo forward behind Ibaka.
