Johnson is potentially our 4th wing.

Cooley is almost certainly our last big with almost 0 chance of leap frogging anyone.

at this point i think cotton is definitely more productive than burke, in a way johnson too, if we mean to give neto a chance, the odd man out based on merits should be burke
unless he somehow made crazy improvement this offseason

I would keep in mind that the coaches basically told Cotton Thursday night to go out there, look for his shot, and in essence, put the team on his back. Anybody else notice Cotton scored 12 of our last 14 points? Anybody else notice that he put the team on his back? He shot poorly up to the 4th quarter. He was 3-9 up to that point. This guy shot in the mid 40's% in the D League. He shot well in the last few games last season. And he is CLUTCH. The 4th quarter-OT Cotton we saw Thursday night is the Bryce "that's my s**t Cotton that a team can count on being there when it matters.

I think all three have shown some good things during summer league. Cooley rebounding and toughness have been on display. However, Cooley's problem is he was born too late. His game would be perfect for the 1980s, when you could be more physical. I don't think he would be used much on this roster. His lack of athleticism is an issue. I would cut him first because of these issues.
I really like Cotton and Johnson. Both have improved and I think both could help the team if given minutes. I love it when Cotton pushes the ball. He is exactly what the Jazz need. I would certainly let him come to camp and compete against our other backups. I'd rather trade Burke and keep Cotton.
Johnson has impressed me the most especially his passing and defense. He gets into trouble a little when he tries to do too much on offense but he has offensive abilities. I certainly think he can be our fourth wing. I would like to keep him also. I think you bring him to camp and let him compete against Millsap and pick the best one of the two if you keep Cotton.
I would like to keep both Cotton and Johnson. I think Johnson has the best chance of playing meaningful minutes if the roster stays the same.

Good voice of reason (can't believe I said that about Cy). It's a tough, tough decision. Cooley has really balled in the summer league games. He's a banger, crashes the boards and pisses off opponents. He's got a fighter's mentality and fans admire that. But yes, he's the 6th big.
Cotton is a keeper. Gives us 4 PG's, but he could be the backup if Trey is dealt. And as you said, Johnson might be better than Ingles or Millsap. He's been pretty impressive with his quickness and increased range. Difficult decision (and I originally voted Johnson), but I think the Jazz waive Jerrett and keep Johnson and Cotton.

I'm sure he's very grateful for tweets like this. Without them he'd have to make his decisions based entirely on his expertise, advice from a team of highly paid consultants, relationships with other teams, and insider access to everything that impacts the Jazz. I'm hoping you mentioned the Porn Actors Guild idea to him as well.

Yes, and this comment was made tongue-in-cheek. However, I did tweet to his faux account after I wrote this response, not realizing it was a faux (fake) account. Wonder if it's someone on this site.
So, you think that the pros shouldn't consider advice from all sources, including fans. I've been on this site long enough to realize that the fans sometimes make better decisions -- just by looking at their draft picks. I also see coaching errors that fans would not make. A lot of fans are knowledgeable and some have been coaches at various levels. No one is omniscient. That is something I've learned in my wisdom acquired by old age.
