carlise game plan was to negate rudy get him out of the paint nn defense. if rudy did not get out the paint he would have had 3 seconds. so rudy could not be the defensive anchor.
 
What was Merji freaking out about after hood hit the game winner? Was he freaking out at Deron's stupid shot? Or upset at the transition defense by Deron and Seth?

I believe he was freaking out that a timeout was signaled for----and that he thought was called. At least if I was Maverick player that is what I would be thinking.
