Dante Exum Averages .2 Steals Per Game

Exum has been all hype since day one. Decent backup for sure, but the results haven't been good as the so called "hype".
I agree he hasn't lived up to the hype. Been injured to much. Hasn't been given enough chances when he has played. Quin has f##### with his head. All I say an athlete like that u have to give them a chance to prove what he's got. He's never had the chance. Quin would rather play the snail Rubio.........

nah ure right, dante exum is the best PG in the entire league... him being ranked 385 out of 430 in rpm is because of Snyder..you're right...YOU GOT IT ALL FIGURED OUT.

Well the role you have when you play can affect advanced metrics. For example, Rob Covington is loved by RPM because he plays to his strengths. Exum basically is used as a change of pace guard who often gets to stand around and brick open perimeter shots. Also RPM still incorporates box score noise (like STEALS) so Exum is torched. Exum is not the 385th best player in the league. He is more likely in the top 275.

It’s tough, to say that he’s NEVER had the chance is a little overstated. He has started in 67 games and played 3500 minutes already in thus league. He’s started for nearly a whole season’s worth of games. The problem is that he was not very good in that role, averaging 5/2/2 on 33%/32%/67%. He curled into the fetal position and did nothing when handed the reigns the first time. Maybe quin is scarred from that now.

Actually he's more like Leandro Barbosa than Shaun Livingston. I don't want to say that's his ceiling since he could be better than Barbosa, especially defensively, but who knows if he'll ever be consistent enough to reach that ceiling.

Right now, he's in the same ballpark as Michael Carter-Williams.
I don't think you read my post. But that's okay- i do agree with most of what you said- excepting the part where you ignored what i typed.
