Once he is cleared to travel, Exum will return to Salt Lake City to begin his rehabilitation.
Sure, he can and should seek out opinions. But don't you think the Jazz, who are set to pay Exum around $23M over 5 years should have MAJOR input? Also, the Jazz have or have access to a wealth of information and relationships with the best surgeons in the country. The real decision should be where he wants to have his surgery done: by someone in SLC or somewhere like Kerlan-Jobe in Los Angeles, probably the most renowned clinic in the world for sports-related injuries.
Hey, Cy. After attacking me in the other thread and basically telling me I don't know what the hell I'm talking about, guess what?
Neal S. ElAttrache, M.D., is a Sports Medicine Surgeon and is member of the Kerlan-Jobe Orthopaedic Clinic board of directors. Specializing in sports medicine

So I guess he didnt go to TOSH.
Dayam son, you know about your sports related injuries!
Yes, I do. Having lived in LA for quite some time, I already knew about Kerlan-Jobe. They're contracted by many sports team, not just the LA-based ones. My wife also worked there for a couple of years (recovery nurse) and took care of athletes from a variety of sports, actors, celebrities...even a Saudi prince. She said the most common surgeries were for pitchers - a lot of shoulder and arm injuries.
So when he takes on a client would that be an ElAttache case?I misread the doctors name as ElAttache. fitting name for a guy operating on broken ligaments.
