So he's growing at 4 times the average? Sweet!
Because NBA sized people are really bound to average growth norms?
Neither very short nor very tall grow very much from 19-20 on average (there are of course outliers, they are just rare, the Admiral grew about 4 inches (~1 inch per year) at the Naval Academy, for example). Look at measurements from draft data versus later data for NBA players. Can you find any who grew an inch or more?
So the answer is that Dante should be expected to have grown a bit, but all the hype over seeing a guy from across the gym without any measurement is just super-optimistic thinking. Who can pin a height to within 1 inch on an eyeball test?
I am confident he is and will continue to put on weight. And also confident that he will get more aggressive. So I am a Dante cool aid drinker, just not believing that he has/will getting much taller/ longer. If I am missing some evidence to the contrary, I'll be very happy to be corrected!

I found a short video of Dante that is much easier to analyze than that photo from across the gym. I would say he's definitely getting bigger... right before our eyes. I'm not sure who that other guy is whose momentarily in the frame. Can anybody tell?
Link? I would be shocked if the average for 19 year olds was that high. I would be surprised if it was 1/10th of an inch.
