Dante Exum: shoulder injury

5.5 assists in 20 minutes? Sorry but no. Dude probably wouldn't average that in 30 minutes.

I think the biggest point that goes over heads is OPPORTUNITY. I have no doubt that Dante could rack up assists with the ball in his hands. Sitting in the corner on every possession, not so much. Sure the argument is if he was good enough (ball handling) to man the offense he would and that may be true. I know it may seem unconventional but I still think Exum is a prospect and a prospect worth hanging on to.

Did we determine surgery would be season ending?

I don't think that's for sure certain. It's a wait-and-see approach. He'll be out until the ASB for sure-- but some times this stuff depends on the grade of the injury, what is being done to restore the AC joint, and just the characteristic recovering rates from athlete to athlete. Nate Robinson came back I think 9 months after an ACL tear.

Well, we all know what happened last year with Burks. By the time he came back, he was totally out-of-sync. If I were the Jazz, if he's physically ready to play by AB, I'd let him play with the Stars when he comes back and get all the minutes he can playing PG. They can always bring up Wolters if they need another PG.
