No but you can miss an entire year and still be on the all-star team. (if you are asian)
one thing he has going for him is he has been rigorously training with a renowned NBA trainer (Tim Grover - Kobe, MJ, DWade, etc) for the last half year while everyone else was studying for midterms.
I don't know about ROY, but the kid seems mature and ready to get to work, and I think he'll surprise people. I do hope he sees good minutes so that he can learn quickly. My gut tells me that Snyder is NOT going to pull a Corbin on us in not letting the young guys play. I think they'll play, but time will tell.
Put a few dollars on it today at 10:1 odds. (I figure the SL will shake the odds up some, so i wanted to get in early)
The notion that hes going to struggle or need a transition year is overstated. His last game was in December, hes probably improved a few things since then. I like my chances.

The jazz are not pgab home teamYou need a ton of minutes to win ROY. Minutes and a green light. Parker is going to have both. Exum may have neither. Poor bet if you ask me. Besides, you are betting on your home team player, gonna be hard to be objective doing that.
But, if you enjoy throwing 50 bucks away supporting Exum, that's fine with me.
On 1280, Chris Sheridan just called Exum a "Mensa" player with the highest IQ of any player in the NBA. Exum is going to get 25-30 minutes a game, book it.
I thought i heard him say highest iq of anyone in the draft, not the nba
