David Aldridge: Jazz come to terms with Jamaal Tinsley

KOC Needs to decided whether or not we seriously want to win or go straight into rebuilding. This isn't a winning formula. I can guarantee you that!

Really does anyone think Al Jefferson is goona lead us to a Championship. Or more importantly is this team gonna win a championship? The answer is NO!

Year after year after year after year after year this goes on. We take a step forward then 2 steps back then 3 steps side ways then 1 step forward then 2 step sidways then 3 steps back. What a joke?

The proof is in the pudding for anyone willing to argue. Where are the rings? No excuses! We have had great talent here. But the Jazz never can close the deal because they continue play it safe

We waltz? Or is it the samba?

You could also call it realistic.

I'd pay Watson twice Tinsley's salary without hesitating for a moment.

This. Signing Tinsley is a ****ty move, imo. Watson would by far be preferrable. If he isn't available, it seems we jumped in pretty fast without looking around much. Maybe it is a product of the shortened pre-season.

what's the worst thing to do when you have a locker room full of 19-24 year olds?

Cyrone Torbin shows what class he is in. The Clueless one... You see, the smart ones here don't need to wait and see how he plays. We already know

What if Watson was demanding a 3 year deal? What if we signed Tinsley to a 1 year deal?

I would say it was a good move then. The backup PG market isn't that strong this year. Sign a player for a year who has no leverage to ask for anything. Then sign someone better next year.

Also, as I said, this is foreshadowing to drafting Kendall Marshall.

Wait, we signed Watson to a 1 year deal last year? Correct? Looked how if payed off for him. Teams are now interested in him enough to actually sign him to a multiple year contract. This looks like the Jazz are repeating the cycle of cheap, 1 year deals before they acquire something they actually like.

Are you 10? Good come back. You could be drinking a full glass of my foot in your mouth.

Don't you twirps have an opinion. Or is all you do just bash other people's opinion.

Admit it! You can't come up with anything. All you got is kissing KOC's butt. Get down and Warship him losers because you will never ever be smart enough to think for yourself

No, this is just me not really caring about our short term back up PG position (in a rebuilding year no less). This is simply a stop gap until the Jazz can find a player they actually like. No need to tie themselves down to a multiple year contract.

Of course this is all speculation. I will be slightly upset if Tinsley got a 3 year deal. I'm almost sure it will be a 1 year thing.

Almost as bad as someone who is afraid to give their opinion on their "main" account <whistling>

Wow I hope this is not true. Tinsley sucked even when people thought he had potential.

Anyone remember when he was entering the draft and he said he didn't want to play for Utah and/or refused to work out for the Jazz? I'm not too fresh on the details but I remember something about him not wanting to go to Utah.

Why the heck are we signing him? I'd rather bring back Price and Watson over him. I'd be happier if the Jazz just signed some total unknown, undrafted rookie with potential ala Wes Matthew a couple years ago. Bringing in some over the hill vet who wasn't any good in his prime and has a bad attitude on top of that. Wow, I hope it's a hoax.
