David Locke is 13 steps ahead of Jeff Van Gundy. Listening to Locke's play-by-play makes me want to cram screwdrivers into my ears, but Van Gundy is in a class all by himself. That guy is on a level of suckass that can't be explained.

Mission not accomplished, Pres. Osama Van Gundy can be found in Memphis, TN in one week.

I'd be the meat in that sandwich if it got me out of listening to Harp.
Wow, you really don't like Harpring, do you... or maybe you're just using this as a convenient excuse to experience a fantasy you've been harboring for years. Now that I think things through, that seems to be the more likely explaination. After all, your television has a volume control, doesn't it? You wouldn't really need to find yourself scrunched up between Ron and Rossie in order to avoid hearing Harp. Come clean now, Brotha.

Guilty, although my original fantasy included Roseanne Barr as the cheese. Two Rosies and some RJ.....Oh yeah, baby.

Boler over Locke as play-by-play, and it's not even close.
I like listening to Locke when he's interviewing NBA personel. When it's just him on the radio, not a big fan - not because his numbers aren't interesting - but I just think his overall judgement and assessent skills are lacking. I still remember last year when was ranking all the NBA players and he argued that he'd put Pau Gasol over Dirk Nowitzki. How can I take him seriously after that?

I like locke on his show, but when i'm listening to the games on the radio I have no idea whats going on.

This. Locke has improved somewhat though, IMO.

During his first season, I once tuned a road game on the radio during my evening commute, curious to hear the latest score (duh). I was still waiting to hear the score when I got home 20 minutes later.
