Because I totally agree with this. Seems like everyone I know who grew up in Arizona has a screw loose. Every missionary in my mission from Arizona was a nutcase. Everybody didn't want to be their companions because they were crazy or just weird as hell.
It's just part of the territory. . . .inbred little towns, plus the McDonald genes in the little pool, and some of the returnees from the Mexican colonies, plus the heat. Fries the brains of the kids before they can find a place out of the summer sun.
