What's new

Dear Jordan Clarkson

Yes, because when I’m low on a player it’s just sour soup and I can’t have reasons for it other than being a downer. But when I’m high on a player….yeah we don’t care about that I’m just here to be a downer.
I just said that we’re surprised by your concern.

I was thinking about this earlier today. If we support Clarkson in this time of bad shooting - and somehow let him know we love him and believe in him - it's going to mean a lot more to him (and the Jazz players) than only supporting him when he plays well. JC is our boy and he has brought the second unit awesomeness. I believe in the JC.

PS. JC stands for Jalepino Churro and without Jalepinos there is no Rally Churro. Respect.

I am not really concerned about his slump but the way he is trying to break out of it..oh my. I was waiting for him to start jacking half court shots.

I can only imagine what the feelings about Clarkson would be like around here if we’d lost a couple more games.

I think when they say to shoot yourself out of a slump, they most likely are not talking about the kind of shots JC was taking last night. Although, this is JC, and those are the kinds of shots he takes and makes on the regular.

He should probably focus on the nifty paint acrobatics he uses to get shots closer to the rim, or draw fouls and get some free throws. I guess I don't really know if that really works. It was pretty bad though. That was some of the highest volume of awful looking and resulting shots I've seen in the NBA.

Yeah, JC is in a funk, but the reality is that he's proven over the long haul that he can effectively contribute. I'm inclined to believe the greater body of work vs. a blip in time.

If that was the case, the way we look at the stock market would be pretty warped.

Bolerjack: "Clarkson just needs to see a couple of these half-court shots fall and it will help boost his confidence at the 3-point line."
