Dear Kosta and Fess

Yall better come prepared this season. It looks like you both will have expanded roles and a real chance to prove yourselves and get into the regular rotation. As of right now, we only have one player over 6'9 other than yall, and he is currently a gimp, and he will probably be a gimp for the rest of his career.

To Koufus, please grow some balls. You are 7'1, there is no reason you shouldnt be able to finish at the rim with relative ease. Also, please learn to hit a midrange jumpshot we all thought you where suppose to be good at. Please come into the season with some added bulk, we are going to need it,

To Fess, grow up. Hit the weight room, you have an extraordinary frame and size, its time to put some muscle into it and lose the baby fat. You are also 7'1 and wide as hell, there is no reason you shouldnt be a monster on the glass. You are already a good finish around the rim, but you can get better, much better.

From what I saw in the playoffs, neither looked prepared to play big minutes let alone start. Especially Kosta, who couldn't get a shot off without being stuffed.

I would never call him a good finisher around the rim (theres a joke there). If you mean with no one around him, that he can dunk than sure. Other than that he has worse hands than Ostertag so you'd basically have to hand it off football style to him under the rim for him to "finish". He's an offensive disaster.

Neither has an offensive game from what I've seen.

Defensively, neither seemed to have much of an effect. At least Fess is big, but you would have thought that he could have blocked shots at a higher rate than a SG Kobe Bryant in the playoffs. But all well....
Kosta is just a lost cause. He doesn't even play tough inside from what I've seen. It's one thing to not have talent but to at least be tough, like Ben H. But to not have much talent and be softer than tissue paper is another. How often I saw Kosta give ground and give up good position and easy scores when he played last year...

It will be interesting to see how we address this issue, especially with question marks about Memo's future.

This is one of the things I'm talking about. Kosta has at least 1 foot on Ty. It was a tie ballgame in the 4th, why isn't Ty's shot blocked? Why isn't Ty on his *** forced to earn it from the line?

Here's another one. Amare isn't even a very physical player yet Kosta gives up waaaaaayyyyyyyy too much ground before the help defense could even react Amare is posterizing him. You can't play post defense without meeting the offensive player with contact. Yet, Kosta does this time after time after time again. He seems to be allergic to physical contact. At least Fess would provide a little more resistance because of his height and weight. But even then, I think we're in big trouble.

i guess it kind of depends on how soon memo can get back and other moves we make in the offseason but i bet we wouldn't start the season very well.

Lets assume he's averaging what he did last year, 14 points and 7 rebounds by December.

Do you see a playoff team dropping? Probably Phx if they lose Amare. Denver possibly? NO? SA?
What about a non-playoff team jumping? Is Sacramento a playoff team? Memphis? The Clippers (hey don't laugh, I think Blake Griffin and Kaman are going to be studs inside)?
