That is not going to change anytime soon. We don’t have the personnel. We have to beat teams with our elite offense. That has worked pretty well so far this season.

The difference between our defense this year and last year is our guys try this year they just aren’t the best defenders and last year we had capable defenders who didn’t try (I’m talking about you Donovan).

instead of coach challenges teams should have 1 flash and 1 smoke grenade for a coach to use at his discretion during the game.I could see the court filled with smoke and all you could see was the ball flying at the basket every 10 seconds or so.

Was our defense supposed to be awesome when we traded the lone defender on the team last summer? Bad defense was to be expected.

These picks better work out cuz that guy deserves a statue. I get he’s not perfect but I still love watching him play. Impossible not to root for him.

Agreed. I still would play 5 out. Ochai can shoot, kelly olynyk can shoot, gay has to be guarded outside, NAW, clarkson, conley, beasley etc. It probably wouldn't have mattered and the jazz play plenty well enough to win but anytime Rudy Gobert is on the other team I would do what takes to get him out of the paint.

He was good tonight. G league isn’t really his spot. His numbers aren’t good there and obviously I’d rather he be dominating down there but it’s not a place for a 3 and D role player to shine.
