Don't forget they were without arguably their best player in Ingram. Once Ingram is back I would say they are clearly the frontrunners in the west. They are also built to defend any team with Ingram, Williamson, Herb Jones, Trey Mitchell, Marshall and Daniels being so interchangeable. We need to take a page out of their book when building our team and focus on adding a ton of big wings like them.

I dont think the West has any front runners.

Western Conference is kind of *** compared to the East in terms of top tier teams.

He actually took THTs minutes

A few games ago I stated he should take some of THTs minutes. But now he needs more. He should be playing 25-30 MPG. I am all for NAW at PG.

Mike is definitly the conductor of the team. The way he manage the crutch is just perfect. Defense, passing. I do undertand we may trade him but if we do, the second part of the season will not be the same.

Mike doesn't rush into doing anything desperate when the pressure is on. Keeps it cool when he operates in tight situations. That no-look pass to Lauri was a great example of it after JC's stumble created a chaotic situation.

I would put a healthy Pelicans team firmly at the top. The question is can they get healthy and stay healthy for an extended stretch because to this point that hasn't been the case. They have such a well built roster though with scorers at every level and great complimentary defensive players. I was never impressed with David Griffin and he has made plenty of mistakes over the years but he has found some great complimentary pieces these last couple years with Herb Jones, Alvarado, Murphy and Marshall. I also think he hit a home run with Dyson Daniels. The kid is already looking like a solid all around player and is still only 19.

Sure you can. You can take away any number of players minutes. They were completely without PG play. CJ looked awful out there and cost them both games with bad decision making.

Sure. Why don't you go to the pelicans board and make a suggestion of trading for Conley and see what they think. Should be fun.
