Want new HC to have time to hire assistants who are comfortable with his system. More offseason time will mean team is better prepared for next season.

Hopefully, the Jazz have been putting out feelers with other potential coaches. Then there will be 2 months before the upcoming draft to plan player moves.

Why should the Jazz give Corbin a front office job? That makes no sense...he failed to meet the goals set forth for for him going into the season (improvement on defense and player development), so you reward him with a front office job? That's ********...the Jazz only owe him his final paycheck and a handshake/pat-on-the-back then each can go their separate ways.

I doubt it. Corbin doesn't bring any value to the organization that would offset the burr he would be to the new coach and the embarassment he would cause to everyone else in the front office. This isn't about him personally, but is a reality of the business world. If the Millers feel any obligation to Corbin, they would be better served to display it with a generous severance bonus rather than strain their organization by offering him another position.

They don't have to fire him, he doesn't have a contract after April 14 (or whenever),so they could make him apply again, or just hire someone else.
I wouldn't care if they gave him another job, mostly because it's non of Ty's a good person, never complained, and from all accounts he was able to bond with the players before he was the head coach.

Yep. Making Ty and his team wait until the end of June would just be vindictive and cruel, and Ty has done nothing to deserve that treatment.

His contract ends June 30th, but they could just be like, "we aren't going to rehire you for next season, bye." If they did this then he could leave and we could start looking for a new coach.
