PRIORITY #1 THIS OFFSEASON- lock up Carroll and Pogo.

We're building the best team chemistry/ unity i've ever seen since Stock / Malone days

-THE SOUTHERNS-

Demarre- Alabama crawfish
Big Al- Mississippi catfish
Millsap- Louisiana gumbo
Favors- Georgia peach pie
Pogo Stick- Arkansas pulled pork
Hayward- Indiana sliced white bread
Burks- Kansas City midwest brisket
Big Turkey-Turkish thanksgiving

Build off these 8 guys, while replacing Harris with Lillard on draft night - TITLE CONTENDER
(or even better, keeping Harris as the backup PG/ mentor to Damian)
 
Make Big Al Fried Okra instead, so him and Carroll can have different names.

I love me some fried okra.

As long as they do not make it soggy i love it as well.

Also I would like to see Carroll back next year but I am not ready to include him in the "core" of this team.

Althought DWILL and CJMILES (Texas Boys) were once considered parts of this core, O'conner has shifted his focus more towards the Southeastern states. See ya Texas kids! I say we bring Carroll back for a 2 year deal. He'll be the backup SF to Millsap. Brings instant heart, defense, and hustle.... the perfect Jazzman.

Jazz 2012/ 2013
*-Jazz deal Big Al to move up in late lottery for Damian Lillard
*-Cut or Amnesty (Watson and Bell). Let CJ Walk
*-re-sign Josh Howard to 1 yr deal and opt-in for Tinsley
*-re-sign Demarre and Pogo to 2 yr deals

PG: Lillard, Harris, Tinsley
SG: Hayward, Burks
SF: Howard, Carroll
PF: Millsap, Evans
C: Favors, Kanter

The New Jersey 2nd rounder (MEMO trade) will fill out the roster, or maybe that cool Ahearn character

I was told by some people who work for the Jazz and they said this is the most likely line up next year.

PG- Harris, Tinsley
SG- Hayward, Burks
SF- Millsap, Carrol,
PF- Favors, Millsap
C- Jefferson, Kanter
 
i'd prefer

PG - harris, (PG of the future we got at #8 with the GS pick), tinsley
SG - hayward, burks
SF - (scoring wing we got by trading jefferson), carroll
PF - millsap, (maybe a cheap backup?), evans
C - favors, kanter
 
I wouldn't necessarily start Carroll next year, but definitely would like to keep him around. We need that boost of energy he brings on a regular basis. And who knows, he may be at that point where his game is ready to grow. We'll know more going into next year's training camp after he works on his game this summer. He seems to be fitting in, likes it here, and his teammates like him as a teammate.

Gotta admit he is looking way better than I thought. When they said he could not really shoot, I thought we were getting one of those guys with hands of stone. He's not useless on offense at all. And he sure has an NBA body.
