Did I not make a post like a month ago saying it's a bad idea for Fisher,Pierce,Garnett (any other players from big market teams) to be the lead of the players? Everyone laughed and said I was going over board with my theory.

Similar to Patrick Ewing leading the players association in '99. And of course there's Billy Hunter...
Because the writer is a hack. I never met Larry Miller, but he seemed like a decent enough owner. I don't feel sorry for the players nor for the owners, but the owners have been the less savory in these negotiations.
