If we were to pull out a win tomorrow, we would be 1.5 games out of 6th. I'm not holding y breath, but that would be huge. Hope Favs can get well soon.
Damn that is an awesome 19 game stretch.
Thanks for getting my hopes back up. Get healthy jazz.
Btw, how is Bradys passing yardage lead looking?
****ing brees???Not good. Brees has come out of nowhere. I have about a 78 yard lead over Rvers and 85 over Brees I think. Right down to the wire.
****ing brees???
I didn't see that one coming
TrueThe Dome, bro.
Back to the Jazz, looking at the slate of 19 games I posted, if we have Gobert back for that stretch and Hood plays solidly (not great, solidly), is there a reason to think we can't go 14-5 over that stretch? 15-4 even?
And yet we're still this close to the 6th seed. That's my point. Listen, I won't lie, the next five are tough. But if we can go 2-3 over that span, we then have a set of games that are very, very winnable. No elite team. They go Lakers, Blazers, Kings, Lakers, Hornets, Knicks, Nets, Wiz, Pistons, Hornets, Wolves, Bulls, Nuggets, Bucks, Suns, Mavs, Pels, Celtics, Blazers. That's a 19 game stretch. If we can get Favors and Gobert back for that most of or even that whole stretch which starts January 10th and can gut out a nice 13-6 or better record, we'll be on our way.
To further clarify this those 19 games go:
@ Lakers 1/10
@ Blazers 1/13
v. Kings 1/14
v. Lakers 1/16
@ Hornets 1/18
@ Knicks 1/20
@ Nets 1/22
@ Wiz 1/23
v. Pistons 1/25
v. Hornets 1/27
v. Wolves 1/29
v. Bulls 2/1
v. Nuggets 2/3
v. Bucks 2/5
@ Suns 2/6
@ Mavs 2/9
@ Pelicans 2/10
v. Celtics 2/19
@ Portland 2/21
The bolded games worry me the most. Let's say we lose them all. That is 15-4. Pretty damn good.
