We had 38 wins last year. I think 44 is doubtful but still possible. I think we'll probably end up with about 42 wins which, with all things considered, is pretty solid. If we get to 43-44 wins, a marked improvement despite all the injuries and how crappy this season has felt, I think that's almost remarkable.

We'd have to for 15-5 the rest of the way in order to get to 44 wins. The best 20 game stretch we've had all season was 12-8 (includes our 7 game win streak). Even finishing the season .500 seems daunting, we'd have to go 12-8. Conclusion...we're ****ed, hello lottery.

See, I don't fully agree. We seem to take it up a notch when our backs are against the wall and we're getting there. I basically have predicted our W/L to this point correctly and when I made my selections, felt like we'd hit that wall, wake up, and finish like bats out of hell, the apex being a focused win over the Dubs.

Believe me, I would love to be wrong and have to eat crow, but I just don't feel it. The second half of last season, it truly felt like we could beat anyone, anywhere. We were completely dominant defensively holding teams to 89 ppg after the all-star break, even the mighty Spurs aren't able to do that this season. I'm just not feeling it this year. Please prove me wrong Jazz...

Also, I'm going to the game on the 30th with the dubs. We are winning.
