What's new

Detroit Pistons @ Utah Jazz

I was at the game last night and it was awful. The team played crappy defense. Even Favors didn't play good. Kanter played hard but still has some lapses on defense. My biggest beef is the Jazz kept on forcing 3s and we were missing all of them. Kanter actually shot decently when they fed him the ball down low. But the team quit on the coach. Even when they nailed a 3 to bring it to a 12 point game the players still had a look on their face like they quit. Corbin's coaching did nothing to bring up their game

Some may see this differently, but I've actually been encouraged by Hayward's recent play. His scoring in some cases is down, but his shooting % seems to be stabilizing, and he appears to be getting a bit more selective in his shots. He's still getting about 5 assists a game, and according to Locke, he has the highest +/- on the team over recent games. He'll never be a 20+ points a game guy (average) but if he can do 16, 5, 5 while shooting decent % from field and three, that's pretty damned good and something few people in the league can do. He's obviously not there yet, but perhaps he (and Jazz) are settling finally on what his role is. I hope so. We'll see.

I have convinced myself that if douche bag Burke had missed that 3 agaist Orlando that the Jazz wouldve beat Detroiit.

It's true cuz I believe it is.

Also, Burke, pls feel free to STFU & GTFO at any time. Prob my least fav Jazz player since, well, Al Jefferson.

Join with OG.

Ever heard of the expression "You can't have your cake and eat it too"?
yup
but Thriller's case is different from that.
Lose the game due to a weak bench, bone-headed coaching decisions and inexperience.
But young guns are allowed and encouraged to show some improvement during the process.
