What's new

Devin getting a little bit of love

He is certainly an afterthought on this board. The way people talk it's like he was just filler to make the numbers work on the New Jersey trade. I think he was a key acquisition.

I think he is good, but I doubt he is apart of the Jazz's "long term" plan. This year will be a big year for him no doubt to prove to other teams in the league that he can still play and help a team win. I hope we get one of the top 3 PG's in this upcoming draft and keep Devin along until the end of his contract, then have the sophomore PG step in.

I still say that none of Teague, Kabongo, or Marshall are likely to better than Harris. Teague, maybe. That's the dilemma .. no elite (at least yet) PG's coming into a draft for a few years and, by then, there will be plenty of teams searching one out. It's either Harris, FA, or a less 'pure' PG.

The #1 player in the class of 2013 is Andrew Harrison, PG. Not to spark more debate, from another thread, but Aaron is 6-6" 205lbs. lol

Brother Aaron is #9 and is SG.

None of them may be better than Harris once was, but Harris is past his best years.

Why wouldn't he be a part of our long term plans? Is this team's goal to win games or be the youngest team in the NBA?

You ready to write him off like that already? He's 28, he had to deal with a serious injury and he played for the worst team in decades.

Do you see him getting back to 21 ppg and 7 apg? I didn't say he would suck. I just said his best years are behind him and we should look for someone to eventually replace him.
