Devin Harris on Al Jefferson: Jazz fans will be surprised if they see him

Once Big Al got comfortable in the Jazz offensive system towards the end of the season, he was easily our most potent scorer. Unfortunately, our team defense started so-so and went downhill.
Kanter has the potential IN THE FUTURE to be a very good player for us. Not likely this year or even next though, IMO... I say the same with Favors; he's very gifted, but hasn't AS YET shown the competitive fire in the belly to be a starter. I think IN TIME he will... Remember, Kanter and Favors are both very young; giv'em time to grow!!

Good post. I wonder why this thread I started is "NotDeadYet".... like 1,000 of sepanol's 1,238 posts were on this thread.

Agree. IMO it would be a mistake to assume Kanter and Favors need to come out and play 2500 minutes in order to maximize their development.

Big Al never really got comfortable in OUR system though. After Dwill and Sloan left the system became "Give the ball to Jefferson in the post and stand around".

Switch "Big Al" to "Kanter" then switch "i" to "all of us". There you go. Yet we failed you. We all did...

I accept being a playoff team like we were the last 5 years as a failure, so we will fail with Big Al anyway, at least we have some chance with Kanter and Favors

I love your optimism and don't at all mind your homerism, but your broken-record posts are becoming akin to carolinajazz'.

How you continuously assume that Kanter will be much better than Big Al without even seeing him set foot in an NBA arena will never cease to surprise me.

i somehow can not stop posting in this thread, it became like my favorite one, but to answer your question quickly, it is not because i believe Kanter will be a superstar, it is because Big Al isn't that amazing not to be surpassed.
After he step foot in NBA, we will see who is gonna be more surprised , you or me

back to the original topic of this thread, here is another tweet about al jeff.
