That's right, The Cap'n killing the haters with kindness.

In an interview with WSSP (Wisconsin- link) , the pride of Tosa Public High give his opinion on numerous topics.

Highlights:

After stops in high-profile places like DFW and the Tri-State Area, how's Salt Lake City:
“It’s not like the other two. It’s kind of quiet, it kind of reminds me of Milwaukee a little bit — smaller, the nightlife is not as grand. But the people there are just tremendous. Some of them are kind of different from the New Jersey-New York area. The people are very friendly. Obviously they love their team. Win, lose or draw, they fill up the stands every night.”

-Asked on if NBA players buy homes in different multiple cities (as opposed to rent), since one can be traded at any given moment, Devin remains faithful to the City that drafted him:
"If we buy, it has to make sense, it depends on if it's a place you'll come back to.
I bought in Dallas, that's still where I live. I choose to spend my summers in Dallas. "

-On being traded on draft-day:
"What a way breaking into the League! It was a bit of a whirlwind but I knew going into the situation when I was drafted I was going to Dallas. You cant ask for a better place to go, it was a great learning experience and situation for me."

-Devin hosts a variety of FREE basketball games/camps for kids, which is unique as most NBA players charge a hefty price. These camps also include academic, science, and health & fitness aspects unlike generic basketball camps other meathead NBA players provide. He believes in helping youth in areas other ways in addition to basketball, 34waystoassist.org.

When Devin Harris isn't splitting defenders on the court, he's splitting atoms in the lab.
In his other spare time, he splits supermodel's legs.

-Unlike other players who are currently bluffing they'll jump ship to Europe, Harris gets real and speaks the truth on the lockout situation: “I’m not really considering it at the moment. Nobody really wants to not play, but, as a union, we’ve got to do what’s best for us and stand tall and try to get a fair deal done. But I’m not really considering overseas. I think I'll stay state-side"

-Asked on what he learned from Steve Nash during his time with the Mavs:
"actually Steve wasn't there, but we learned a lot from Steve kicking our *** [lol] "

We've been spoiled with two of the best PGs on the planet. Harris is a fine PG, if he can stay healthy, and play better in our system.
