Did Hayward's LEADERSHIP blow anybody away last year?

Remember, the whole goal last year was to lose games. Kanter knew it and was on cruise control. (So was Favors.) Even so, he finished the year averaging 18/14/2blk in his last 5 starts. He didn't agree with what Corbin was doing, and he was probably right. People bag on him, but he's probably our best player overall. He plays with more passion than most of the other guys, and the fact that he was outspoken shows some leadership, imo.

The issue here is that Favors and Kanter haven't fit very well playing together, and Favors is the anchor of the defense. So Kanter's minutes were hurt as a result.
 
We had no leaders last year.

People rave about Burke. But his leadership reminds me of Raja Bell's: Do as I say not as I do.

Exum, Hood, and Gobert provide intriguing prospects for leadership. Exum is the most personable prospect we've had in years. Hood seems well educated and potentially able to back it up with his offense. And Gobert seems like a hard ***. He is the anti-Fess/Kanter. Gobert screams all business to me. He's intense and doesn't goof off out there on the floor.

Going forward, I think Exum has to become the leader. Obviously he's young and needs to develop, but he's probably the most talented, prototypical and cerebral player we have.

I'm so pumped to see what these guys can do with another offseason and an actual coach.

Where will UGLI and PKM go and who is the third star they take with them? I heard they tried to recruit colton. High BBIQ (basketball board IQ) and he does all the dirty work (grammar, calls people out for inappropriate posts, etc). But management won't let him leave.

AKMVP opted out already and is an UFA, just waiting to see what happens. And I hear they'll try to coax the legendary LTV out of retirement - once they find him.
