If I lived in Utah (or wherever I could get Root Sports for the Jazz) I wouldn't purchase it. I pretty much watch just for the Jazz (though it is nice with League Pass to watch other games I normally wouldn't see). But since I don't it's mandatory for me. I pretty much don't miss Jazz games, and it would pain me to do so.

Would a car stop for you on the freeway?
Are phone companies, and their contracts honest?
Would a hooker steal from you?

Two wrongs don't make a right.

But 3 rights make a left.

actually LP for TV only has 1 or 2 HD games a night... BS!

It actually depends on your provider. DirecTV provides every game in HD, and usually both the Home and Away feed. I think Dish Network is pretty much the same. InDemand is the company that provides League Pass for all the cable companies plus Fios, and they began offering all games in HD this year, with dual feeds for select games. Depending on your tv provider and their bandwith limitations, you may only get 1 or 2 HD games a night. I know Fios is pretty much tapped out bandwith wise, and my parents just have one HD channel for League Pass, while I know Time Warner is offering all the HD feeds.

How do you sign up for the week free trial? I checked out their website and couldn't see how.

go to NBA.com, click League Pass (don't hover over it and select an option below, you just click on the button that says League Pass at the top right next to "TV"), then click Learn More under the League PAss Broadband section, then you will see a button for a free trial

Why get it at all? I get all the Jazz games and most playoff games anyways.

telling me I should use online streams every day instead of LP is like telling me I should just take a cab every day instead of buying a car.

Sure they're there - but they're unreliable. Bad links, bad connections, pop-ups, etc. I'd rather pay my money and not have to think about it.

Sweet, thanks.

For a shortened season NBALP is really expensive. Especially within the Turkish Lira.

I was considering purchasing it but I couldn't afford because of being unemployed and broke.

And here is the beautiful irony: When I start to work again I won't be able to watch the nba much.
