No way... it looked bad but he didn't connect... looked more like when guys go forehead to forehead to talk ****... but he only got to his chest area. Mike should have pointed it out to the ref and had them review it for a hostile act... it likely would have been called a tech. Getting a guy that is as much of a loose canon as Brooks a technical really neuters his whole routine cuz he has to watch himself.
 
The difference between Sloan and Snyder is never more striking than here. If Sloan was coaching you can bet Dillon would have been planted by either Sloan himself coming on the court and doing it himself or by a Jazz player setting the most viscous, blind back pick known to man.

Nothing will happen.
 
Really the thing that stuff like this shows is that the jazz are the nice guys so they can get pushed around with no repercussions and the players won't do anything either. They got manhandled in that game with zero respect from the refs and took zero respect back from Memphis. Unfortunately that makes a difference and if the jazz want the calls they will have to go force the issue.
