I guess forget about bringing in a DLeague Big as Beans practiced today and is hopeful to play Friday. I had forgotten about him and he would probably be more productive than Vernardo or Butch.

There was an article in yesterday's paper that Jackson is still Pelicans property. He was drafted, played summer league with them, signed a contract with a European team and left after not playing and submitted himself to the DLeague draft. Evidently the signing with the European team allows New Orleans to keep his rights even though he is playing in a NBA farm league and he is hoping for a callup by New Orleans even though they have 15 players on their roster. I'm shaking my head on how they can still hold onto his rights. It seems like they should be forced to waive him or keep him since he is playing in the US.
