OP asked if the Jazz have a plan. It seemed to end with letting Millsap walk for nothing and swapping a 7th/8th seed ad nauseum (sic) for a 9th/10th spot ad nauseam.
There also aren't any free agents who will move the needle, so there's that working against your optimism.
