Do You Think Mike Harris Will Replace Hayward In The Lineup?

Sorry, I couldn't resist. Even a blind squirrel will find a nut some days. Harris played well, but Gordon was dreadful. Plus, having Gordon as our number one option will be a disaster. Gordon needs to be a player that moves well without the ball and shoot behind screens. If we have him trying to create for others and try to create his own shot, his game will go down hill quick.

Everyone mentions his bad shooting night but ignores his 5 ast, 4 rebs and 3 steals. Had a bad night it happens. he will be better.

If your going to mention his stats, you have to add 4/13 shooting, 5 turn overs, 2/4 from the line, foul trouble, bad haircut, ultra white skin, etc.

Gordon's bad game in part is because of foul trouble and not finding any rhythm to last nights game. The other half was due to him pressing on offense looking to shoot. He shouldve been looking to make his teammates better. He did do that, but felt he should've had 8-9 assists. In my eyes, he needs to be the #1 option in that he directs the offense has the ball in hand and be a facilitator. He's a skilled ball player, and if he does this more his offense will come.

Bogus calls and an aberration. Poor shooting night has already been mentioned. repeatedly. TOs are a legit concern but that is team wide. Not just Hayward.

Gordon played bad offensively, but you're forgetting the clutch defense he played on Durant.

duh

He may not have rhythm, but he has privilege.

I'm not sold that Gordon is our #1 option. Not in the future and not on this team now. That said, not sure we have a #1 option. Boler/Harp kept saying the run the offense through Hayward but I don't know that he's built that way. But I'm an idiot most days.

NO. Harris can't shoot threes (I know - GH misssed his fair share of threes last night). I can see Harris replacing Jefferson if Jefferson plays bad for a stretch of games. But I have a feeling Jefferson is going to over-achieve, yet Harris will be part of the rotation.

If Hayward sucks, he shouldn't be worried about Harris; but he should be worried about Brandon Rush.

Been sayin' that since the 1st day they've loaded this campaign onto the hunch of the kid.

So, he had a bad game. He's still the best all-around player on the team, and he is actually a good playmaker -- was the best playmaker on the team last year.

I would be very interested to hear Booner or Hot Rod commentary on this exact subject. A drunk Hot Rod is miles ahead in understanding the game than these 2, imo.

I think Hayward would excell as a sharp shooter for a team. Have someone that can collapse the D and have Hayward there to catch and shoot.
