Does Corbin get booed in Game 3?

#LetEvansPlay

Seriously. Sit Al "The Black Hole" Jefferson and let Evans show him what effort is all about.

I would laugh hilariously if the Jazz get blown away at home and Ty gets booed. Then one day he'll wait up and say, "Maybe I should play the rookies more" hmmmm in a old kermit the frog voice. "Nah, vets know how to lose better".

I hope so. Putting that starting lineup that got their asses absolutely handed to them at the end of the 2nd to start the 3rd was just mind bogglingly stupid.

He should get a standing ovation. He guided this team to the playoffs, which most thought wouldnt happen.
His coaching obviously caused the much better Spurs players to outplay the Jazz players so far.
Morans, per usual.

he guided?

the injury bug guided the jazz to the playoff.
name 1 adjustment lineup situation corbin came up with one his own.
1
exactly one
starting fvaors and benching sap at the beginning of the seaosn. he then changed his mind
every single minute has been dictated by veteran status. and the injury bug

I know Corbin comes from the Sloan philosophy of players not losing their starting spot due to injury, but can't they at least lose it due to sucking!!!!

Good golly did anyone actually watch the Jazz while Sloan was coaching?
It wasn't uncommon for players to lose their starting spot due to injury under Sloan. Bryon Russell lost his SF position to Donyell Marshall when he hurt his ankle in the middle of the 2000-01. Marshall exploded, the Jazz went on a tear and when Russell returned he came off the bench behind Donyell (late in the season Russell re-entered the lineup at SG in place of the erratic John Starks). Greg Ostertag lost the starting center position to Greg Foster in 1998 when he got a stress fracture in his foot and Foster started at center for the remainder of the regular season (the Jazz went on one of their post-allstar game tears) and the entire postseason.

Heck, go back to the 2010 Playoffs, Kirilenko missed the entire Denver series and the first 2 games against the Lakers with a strained calf. In Games 3 & 4 AK came off the bench and Sloan stayed with CJ Miles and Wes Matthews starting on the wing rather than abruptly throw AK back out there into the starting lineup.

I'm not saying Sloan was perfect and didn't have faults, but the things he did that bothered me aren't the things I see Ty Corbin doing now.

I hope so. I really think he's one of the worst coaches in the league.

That game was embarassing and choosing to sit the guy on the bench who led you back into the game was the stupidest thing I've seen from any coach in a long time.

Down 6 with 6 minutes left. Takes out Favors. Next time Favors gets in the game Jazz are down by over 30. As soon as Favors left it was a race to the rim for the Spurs. Favors is our best player. Maybe not on offense but by far our best defensive player and best player overall. To get 9 minutes of meaningful play in a playoff game for your best player is ****ing Stupid.

In some sense, it is pointless to bitch about Corbin. He'll be around for at least a couple more years. He has some nice qualities.

But, yeah, he's laid some steaming piles of **** out there this year.

The only consolation I can see is that the organization literally cannot sit on its hands or go into some holding pattern. A big man absolutely has to be dealt; and I think anybody with two cents knows it's bigal
