Is Education Important for Basketball Players?

Education, no. Overall intelligence, yes.

A lot of people appreciated this post... and I find that interesting.

Most people liked it because they conflated "education" with "a history being involved in certain degree-granting institutions." Actually, getting an education does not require participation in any institution.

I could go on, but, YES, a player's education is really important to me. I assumed that "education" meant "education in the ways of basketball." Silly me.

But there is no determinism there right?

If a kid eats his dinner with parents and successes at school, those things would have no bonds between each other. They are the two unrelated consequences of a certain situation, the kid being a nice kid.

Respectfully Note to Elder Tarkanian: Pardon me if I spoil an effort to bring your child to the table.

this is what I was talking about.
Addictionary (what a nick) is one of those kids that did not grow up in a traditional God-fearing law-abiding family.
I am sure he is an effing comunist!
(Elderly strikes back)

seriously though; kids that feel the attention from their families grow up cognizant of their personal responsibilities.
Correlation my soft, hairy .....
