Does Hayward have any trade value, you think?

Harden has Westbrook and Durrant to play off of. Hayward has who to play off of? I personally wouldnt trade Hayward for Harden, let alone Sap and Hayward for Harden and filler. Hell no. Sap and Burks, maybe.
Burks isnt even in Haywards league, IMO...
Mark it, Hayward will be more than a role player in this league.
 
I think Hayward helped Favors adjust and get used to Utah & the NBA.

Favors seems to be very very shy and Hayward appears to be the leader of the young guys.

Hayward is the type of player who I think will stay with Utah(though I would love for him to come out East so I can see him play at earlier times :) )

Him staying in Utah may also influence Favors to staying. We need those 2 to continue a great rap pore.

Burks will leave...I like Burks, but I think he thinks he is better than he is and he will leave Utah 1st Chance.

As for value with other teams, I think most teams would love him. He is especially smart in transition so I would see a team that loves to run craving Gtime.

How does his contract work ? I know we picked up his 3rd year (next year).

How does it work after year 3?

Yeah. I did. Hayward can't drive even remotely as well as Harden. For that matter, Harden could "pass" as well as Hayward if all he did was get into the lane and dump the ball off for 20 footers.

Harden is much better than Hayward. It will never be close.

Hayward has a better basketball iq, better perimeter shot, is a better passer (yes, I read your dumb if then statement), better rebounder, better shot blocker, and overall, better defender. But yes, I know, Burks is better than Hayward at everything.

The Jazz would own Harden's rights. He would be a restricted free agent. The Jazz would hold the cards. They would own him outright if they were prepared to offer the max (they should have an offer prepared right NOW). Deron is an unrestricted free agent if he so chooses it.

Yeah, all that's true but it's a huge gamble. The Nets currently hold Deron's rights to make the most money, right? And he's 100% gone They blew it. If we owned Harden, nobody would bid on him as an RFA because they know we'd match (although it would put us perilously into the tax if we didn't deal Al/Sap). Even assuming we got that hurdle cleared, we're still in the position of hoping he signs with us, not assured.

I just don't see KOC voluntarily getting himself into that game. Too big a risk.
 
Burks has incredible speed though, which is something that could eventually make him an elite player, and most of the things that Hayward is better at, is not by much and having room for debate.

Deron is unrestricted though.

Harden would be a restricted FA. The only risk you run by getting Harden is if someone offers him max money and you don't feel he is worth max money.

The league is full of guys with great BBIQ's. Guys who can draw fouls and score like Burks are much more rare. I like Hayward. But he won't be a better player than Burks.
 
Lol Gordon Hayward, everybody. I noticed no bump to this thread, people must want to forget about trying to make me look a fool.. Haywards stock probably took a plunge for the worse.
