Does Kanter show Jazz made mistake in these playoffs ......

For the past six seasons, the OKC Thunder have reached the conference finals four times. The two times they didn't were when Durant or Westbrook were injured.

I'll admit, I underestimated Durant/Westbrook. What a duo.

Also admnit you thought Kanter was unplayable vs a contender in the playoffs and he was playable. Against a historically good team for that matter.

Good point. 8.7 points and 7.5 rebounds per game isn't bad at all. Not max money good, mind you, but solid.

Still a historically good team and one of the best defensive teams of all time. Tim Duncan has a 5+ DRPM which is is the stat many of you guys use to say Kanter is unplayable. Even if the bigmen for Spurs are as bad as you say they are they are still a 67 win team. When is the last time the Utah Jazz had a 67 win season?

Kind of like they don't know a thing about basketball,HOW do you trash on a 67 win basketball team as their bigs too old and undersize, why didn't that show up during their great season ?
Just think if Corbin had never coached the Jazz ,Jazz made a HUGE mistake trying to have a old school coach (Corbin) coach a new era NBA team.

Means you dont know alot and watching the games went WHOOOSH right over your head when you were watching. When the season was on the line ,who played in the 4th quarter, when they were trying to stael the game in SA ,who played the 4th quarter and who played when OKC took off against SA and buried them in the 6th game ,you ho-hum what you watched ..so fake

Um, what did I say in that quote that was inaccurate?

Well I was wrong about Spurs exposing Kanter. I guess I didn't take into account how much the Spurs love to post-up now and how much their primary PNR ball-handlers have declined. Kanter was always a solid post-up defender.

I'm positive the Warriors will expose him though!

So would the Thunder, given the minutes distribution. Steven Adams is a damn good, mighty underrated player. I couldn't believe how well he played last series.

Imagine how much better all their players would be if they thought there was a chance they'd touch the ball on offense? Kanter is one of those players that gets better on defense throughout a game when he's having a good offensive game, but the second anything goes wrong he's back to trash as a defender.

I just had a thought, WhAt if.... all you Kanter lovers started posting on the OKC boards? I bet you would find lots of opinions that agree with yours and then you wouldn't get all worked up when you fail to convince Jazz fans of Kanter's greatness.
