They edited the video to make his arm appear to come down with force, by speeding it up. She invaded his space twice in an attempt to grab the mic from him, on the second attempt while he is gesturing toward Trump his arm comes down and touches hers. If that's 'getting physical' with someone then I'll eat my ****ing shoe.

Yes, I see it as him getting physical in a struggle for the mic, in both the infowars video and in the unedited video.

I don't consider that a doctored video. It is a video that highlights Acosta getting physical with a person whose job it is to get the mic to the next person. The video doesn't make something appear that isn't there. Acosta physically resisted having the microphone taken from him. That's what happened.

Thats what i saw

Having said that, it wasnt very physical at all and she was also rather aggressive and physical in trying to take the mic.

I see it mostly as a nothing burger. Acosta came off as a douche to me.

The interaction itself I agree is a nothing burger. The white house offering up doctored videos, however, is definitely a somethingburger. If they are willing to distort the truth is such a fashion over something so small, you'd better believe they will not hesitate to do the same when there's actually something at stake.

Did you check out the tweet I included in my post?

Sanders actually sent out an edited video that makes Acosta seem more aggressive. This is the press secretary of the United States sending out altered video in order to deceive. The wash post has an article about it:

The video was altered that Sanders sent out. You can have whatever opinion you want of Acosta. But certainly you can’t justify Sanders sending out an altered video in order to deceive. She’s the press secretary of the president. Sarah Goebbels act shouldn’t be condoned.

This is fascism.

Read the article I posted above. The wash post actually shows what was altered from the original video.

I think there is an argument to be made as to weather Trump should answer these questions honestly. I DON'T think there is an argument to made regarding the way these press briefings are managed. The "editing" does not alter the basic facts as I see them and I think this is the absolute wrong argument to make regarding this encounter. I think it does nothing at all to further the legitimate arguments against Trump.,

I think the fact that trumps press secretary sent out an edited video says:

a. He’s very dishonest
b. The original video didn’t justify taking away his access.

I find the press secretary pushing out edited videos extremely scary. Yet another step towards the fascism cliff that republicans seem intent on driving our country off of.

Edited? The content didn't change in any substantial way IMHO.

Complaining about this is singing to the choir. You're never going to convince anyone based on this. This is weak. This is grasping at straws.

Don't. Just don't.

I don’t think they would’ve put out an edited video if it hadn’t changed the content in a significant way.

To me, the issue is an outlaw regime that feels like it can put out blatantly false propaganda. That’s my issue. I don’t give a **** what Acosta did. I don’t want the press secretary blatantly lying to us.

At this point, what’s the difference between she and Goebbels? At this point, is there any difference between Fox News/Sanders and state owned media in North Korea or Russia? This is what’s scary to me. Today, it’s Acosta. Tomorrow, it’s the Times followed up by an even more false video or statement.

Why does this WH feel justified to blatantly lie? And why aren’t we demanding far more out of this deplorable WH?

I find there to be little physicality by either party. Trump was his typical ******* self. Acosta continued to grandstand.

They both look bad. And the press is still free to lambast anyone they choose over it. I do like that other members of the press objected to his access being revoked.

Edit: a doctored video. Really? Dumb. Even the doctored video plays up how little physicality there was at all. Just a stupid move on the W.H.’s part.

It is not a blatant lie.

Get real.
