Trump made a HUGE error by turning the media against him during his campaign and beyond. You don't bite the hand that feeds you. So yeah, there would not be the media frenzy if Clinton had won because she didn't anger the media and cause them to want to hit back as a way of defending themselves. Plus Clinton wouldn't be giving them daily stories through Twitter like they get now.
Interesting. So you believe that Trump is correct about the corruption of the media?

Wrong. It would make no difference to the rabid attack dogs at all. You wouldn't behave one bit differently if his tax returns looked like Mother Theresa's than you are right now.

Completely disagree.

One of the main thrusts against him is that he has Russian financial ties. Releasing those tax forms would do much to dispel this perception in the public's eye imo.

Now answer my 5 questions listed above.

I absolutely do not. There are media sites that I do believe are horrible and damaging (Infowars, for example, although calling that media is stretching anyway), but as a whole I believe the media wants to do what they should be doing, which is informing the public. In our polarized times, the media has also sadly become polarized. However, I have no problem thinking that a news organization with different viewpoints than my own is still trying to do the best job that they can.

But what has gotten Trump in trouble is he has caused journalists throughout this country to dig deeper than they likely would have done had Trump not attacked them - just like any of us do when we are threatened.

I'm getting really sick of people not giving Trump the credit he deserves. This mess he is in is entirely of his own creation. There are myriad ways he could have handled the Russia investigation. He could have at any point made it a priority of his own administration to take steps to keep such interference from happening again. Instead, he attempted to repeal the sanctions we placed on Russia in response to the attack. His requests for loyalty and eventual firing of Comey and endless tweets about witch hunts aren't doing him any favors.

babe, I've been meaning to mention for a few years now that you should tell everyone what your name is for a good laugh (think of TroutBum's famous thead). Yeah, I figured it out in about two minutes. I told you I wasn't calling you Babe in person.

You believe his approval rating would be higher if he released his tax returns? I don't believe it would change a thing in a positive direction, even if it showed he was paying a higher rate than every other citizen of this country and that he was donating most of his money to orphans. If there is something negative on them, though, I'll bet it would turn into a complete **** show.

I agree. For the most part people are fairly polarized on the President. Seems to me that the vast majority staunchly support or oppose him. Short of massive wins or failures/corruptions I don't see that really changing to much.

You don't know yourself very well. The next time you fall on anything other than the left side of an argument will be the first. The next time you pay the slightest bit of attention to information that supports anything other than your world view will be the first. If Trump somehow entirely cleared his name on the tax issue you would simply attack him on different issues.

I can't remember your five questions too well. I answered one of them, right?

There was one asking why so many of his associates had secret meetings with Russians. I'm sure you have paid closer attention to the number of associates and the number of secret meetings than I have. I have yet to see evidence from any of them that leads me to believe there was collusion.

One of them implied that he was obstructing the investigation. Do you think it's possible that he knows he did not do anything wrong and that he's sick and tired of this wild goose chase and believes that the lead goose chaser is an incompetent idiot so he fired him? It's funny how much the left hated Comey until Trump fired him. I even saw tweets from the same hack who was demanding his firing and then going crazy about the firing taking place on the same day. Did you see how confused Colbert's audience was that night? Hysterical! But who could blame them for not knowing the narrative about Comey had completely changed in one moment?

You had a question that assumed he believed someone was colluding with Russia. WTF are you even talking about?

Your Lester Holt question is exactly what I'd expect from someone with your agenda. Imagine if the things I said two paragraphs above were true. Maybe he was firing a guy who he thought was wasting a ton of time and money. That is the way you handle incompetence in business. He doesn't seem to know (or at least agree) that incompetence is supposed to be enshrined in government.

Yeah you need to go back and reread my post. It's not that difficult to open a tab and read a post one page back.

Follow instructions first then you can get your paper graded.

The vast majority don't support him.

He currently has a 60 percent disapproval rating. Nearly 70 percent believe he has meddled with the Russian investigation. And most do not approve of his firing of Comey:

It's ironic that you apparently think the media has a right to be biased against Trump because he called them out for being biased against him.

Hilarious that you think I care about following your instructions.

Well that was easy. You can't even answer basic questions.

Funny how trumpetiers run away whenever they're called out.

I know I know, it's a witch hunt I know...

Pathetic!
