I get what you're saying and I don't believe individuals should discriminate. However, I don't blame the church from asking for their ability to discriminate what the institution deems as an immoral lifestyle. BYU should be able to deny employment to a homosexual professor. At least, isn't that what the church is thinking?

OK sure, but why then can I not make the same moral judgements as a non-religious person? If I owned a business(I did for a time) the chirch would have that right stripped from me. The Church is advocating to make it illegal for someone like me to not hire someone because they are gay. Why should I as a common guy be held to a higher moral standard than the church? Which is a massive organization that has way more impact than I could ever hope to.
