Doufos is gone

So signing Fess seems pretty probable, I have no feelings on this either way. Good luck to him in Minnesota, I will miss him getting stuffed by shorter players, missing jump shots, and of course, his dancing.
 
Will one of the mods, please, make this thread a sticky. This is a time to rejoice.

No. But in a trade, you have to have the pieces going back and forth that work within the rules. The Jazz TPE covers Jefferson. But Minny can still receive 25% over as per the CBA. So you can dump 25% of crap on top of the deal. Koufos probably fits within that. Even if he doesn't, the Jazz can agree to make 2 Deals with Minny. ONE, which covers Jefferson and the TPE, and TWO, in which Minny absorbs Koufos with their cap space.
 
I have a buddy in Minny and was teasing him today if he wanted a bag of chips to make himself feel better about us stealing Jefferson from them. Now I feel like I owe him dinner...

Well, if they where two seperate deals, we would have to get something back for Koufus, as Im aware, we are only getting Jefferson.

Clearing space for the eventual arrival of TOMIC!!!!!

Yes, but only if the trade involving the TPE could be made straight up otherwise.

Let's see if Kosta was in lieu of one of the two first-rounders. If that's the case, then ok. Kosta wasn't going to get much PT and it puts Utah back near the tax.
 
This guy was never going to amount to anything....I mean, he might make a great member of society and be a great father, but on the court he wasn't going to do ****.

Yeah, I'm just throwing out the possibilities. Koufos only makes 1 point something so he should be an acceptable throw-in.
