Last night Ian Clark had 7 points on 2-11 shooting and Jack Cooley had 21 points and 22 rebounds in another Stampede loss.
 
who coach's those guys, anyway? so much of the NBA game is just being in shape.
we really need a master conditioner. I wonder if the guys are being whipped into shape by the master down on the farm.

There is no talent on this farm team. This is perhaps the worst collection of talent I think I've seen in Triple A. The Jazz did a very bad job of stocking this team. I hope it improves next year.

For all you Motum fans he is averaging 18.6 points per game and 7.2 rebounds in the league down under.

The problem is that even D-League players like warm weather and pretty girls. Who wants to play in Idaho by choice? The Jazz need to get some fringe guys that other teams will consider calling up and PAY them a little more to play in Idaho. Stock the team with talent, and then run the Spurs/Hawks/Jazz system that has been so successful of late. They also need to work out deals with teams that don't have a 1-to-1 affiliation and let them send their guys to the Stanpede instead of having to share time with the Mad Ants.

with a deal like that, the Jazz potentially could have taken an extended look at Adreian Payne (Atlanta), Mike Muscala (Atlanta), Noah Vonleh (Charlotte), Erick Green (Denver), C. J. Wilcox (L. A. Clippers), Russ Smith (New Orleans), Bruno Caboclo (Toronto) and/or Glen Rice III (Washington). Plus the Jazz players like Ian Clark and Grant Jerrett (who should be there now). Those are some ways that they could substantially improve the talent level.

I hope they bring him back for Summer League and Training Camp. He's a guy that I think would have fit in nicely. I can see him replacing Evans for the 5th big spot behind Gobert, Favors, Booker and Tomic (if Tomic indeed comes over.)

It seemed in the intersquad scrimmage that someone like Locke or Boone or maybe a beat writer wrote that Motum looked like the best player on the floor.

Good. Jarrett and Clark should finish the year up in Idaho so that they can start auditioning for jobs next offseason. Don't see either guy back with the Jazz. Kind of hoping that Jarrett's non-guaranteed contract can get flipped for a veteran player to add some quality depth somewhere on the bench.
