draft day rep bets

#1 - I'll bet the Jazz draft a PG in the first round (3:2 odds)

#2 - I'll bet the Jazz move up to either #9 or #10 (4:1 odds)

#3 - I'll bet the Jazz draft Archie Goodwin at #21 (6:1 odds)

I'll take the Goodwin bet. I think if they take Goodwin it will be later in the draft or early second. what rules want to do an over under type? say 24 or 25?

I don't think adding an over/under makes much difference, because it's unlikely the Jazz will add another pick in the 20s like that. That's fine. I'll do the bet as is. This is a reach on my part.

I'll bet you on the trading up with their first pick,. The fact that Lindsey has hinted we're actively looking to move up likely means we're just trying to sucker other teams into giving up assets to do that.

You're probably right. I'll take the bet though.

The Jazz are in a pretty good position even if they stay put. There will be good players at both 14 and 21. That said, I think Lindsey is willing to move any of our picks and Alec Burks to get a player that he thinks is a more rare commodity. He could have made his statement as a smokescreen, but he also might have been telling the GMs--okay, we're done with workouts and we want to move up, lets finish the negotiation.

OK, so we're set. I'm betting the Jazz stay at #14. It's a weak draft, but the cost will still be too high to move up.
