I mean he had a couple games where he went 2-12 or 2-9... but he didn't have like i don't know 8 games where he went 1 for something or 2 for something like ya boy did. I'm sure that JHS game where he went 1-14 and scored 3 points with 4 turnovers was some beautiful basketball. It's the one he meant to say.
JHS was playing better competition and his counterpart wasnt dropping 30 on him.I mean he had a couple games where he went 2-12 or 2-9... but he didn't have like i don't know 8 games where he went 1 for something or 2 for something like ya boy did. eyeroll.... basket is still 10 feet in the air.JHS was playing better competition and his counterpart wasnt dropping 30 on him.

And his best games blow every freshman in the class away by a country mile besides Brandon Miller.jhs's worst games:
2-9
1-14
2-11
1-6
2-11
1-8
1-9
yeah, he had his share - and there were plenty others, but those are the 2s and 1s.
But the opponent was allowed to play 10 guys on the court and the basket was rotating like those janky circus hoops.jhs's worst games:
2-9
1-14
2-11
1-6
2-11
1-8
1-9

when he looked good, he looked damn good, for sure. And his best games blow every freshman in the class away by a country mile besides Brandon Miller.
But if you only isolate great games... a lot of players (nba and otherwise) look great. You are the back of your basketball card... small sample size of College Basketball can skew that of course.JHS "elite" games (this is subjective of course)
14-24 for 35 pts, 7 rebs
8-12 for 24 pts
12-17 for 33 pts
6-8 for 18 pts
6-13 for 21 pts, 9 assists
Hendricks "elite" games
10-16 for 25 pts, 8 rebs
9-15 for 25 and 10 rebs
6-7 for 21 pts
6-7 for 16 pts 9 rebs
Hendricks had 6 20+ pt games, JHS had 5. JHS had two 30+, Hendricks none. So it is probably accurate to say JHS's best games were better than Hendricks, but Hendricks only had two games 2 FG made, where JHS had seven. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder.
no doubt. i like both players, but have hendricks quite a bit higher on my board. But if you only isolate great games... a lot of players (nba and otherwise) look great. You are the back of your basketball card... small sample size of College Basketball can skew that of course.
