Are the Jazz really having a draft party? Or are you guys just gonna show up with a six pack of PBR or something?

Ogden City and Weber State are throwing a draft party in downtown Ogden for Damian Lillard.

Man, I wish I could be there. It's always nice when Ogden actually attempts to act like a college town.

Not really (at least for now), but yesterday they (Energy Solutions) did just appoint a new CEO causing the company's stock to plummet about 55%. So to say that they may be going belly up soon wouldn't be a reach.
I kind of hope they do just to see the epic thread of names we can come up with for the arena.

I'm a little suprised the Jazz are still holding a draft party, but then again there isn't much precedent. Utah's held a 1st-round pick at the start of every draft since 1994 (although in '98 they had a deal in place to immediately trade Nazr Mohammed to Philadelphia). Of course there's the possiblity that they still trade into the 1st round, just don't know how much of a turnout there will be for a 2nd-round pick.

KOC hates them, the Jazz have no 1st and I have not seen anything anywhere that says they are having a party. If someone has a link, a story, or an inside source please feel free to share.

They are having the draft party? For a second round pick? Usually most of the fans are out of the door by the time the second round gets going.
