I think this is very unlikely, but, what the hell let's entertain this..... what would it take to get Knight? They want picks and to get rid of some of their **** contracts. How about Memo, GS pick, Utah's 2013 first pick (with some protection) for Hamilton and Knight? Too much? Not enough?

I highly doubt it as a top 10 pick we'd have to give up a lot for him.
I'd say not enough if I were Detroit.. Memo is useless to them, GS pick is iffy, 2013 pick is wayyy too far in the future..
Not enough for their PG of the future. Swap Memo for Jefferson and I think Detroit might start talking.

Talk was Milsap and 12 pick at the time for him. Can't remember if Hamilton was talked about but pistons boards wanted sap bad. I wouldn't give up sap for him though. Jazz pulled the trade saying they didn't want to give up too much but it wouldn't be the first time the jazz made a deal later on. I just don't get why not express any interest in Earl.

Randy Rigby was on with Locke & Bolerjack. Maybe someone else can quote him better, but I heard him say something to the effect that other teams were reporting deals but the NBA had told teams no deals until Friday at 2pm and the Jazz will abide by those rules. Is that why Earl is waiting to hear from the Jazz?

That would make sense as well lol. The Earl mystery might just have to wait till friday. Thought people can agree to verbal deals though and if that is the case the jazz should be on the phone to him.

Somebody should tell the Jazz no deals can be SIGNED until Friday. However, verbal agreements can be made before then.
