Early announcement of possible poker game.

Wait till May GF! I'm actually coming to Utah. For real. I'm buying my tickets to Narlins in February, then will be stopping in Austin before I touchdown in Utah
 
There are a bunch of ways for people to hang out. I totally want to hang out with everybody, I just don't want to stress over hosting a poker game to do it. Especially when chips I bought for $0.76/each are now worth $2-$3 and I've only been holding a game once every 18 months. Plus I suck at poker. At one point I was decent, but those days are gone. And I'm not as good a dealer or tournament director as I once was, so it's just frustrating for me.

That and I've got a new hobby I could apply that money to.

And my poker table with pedestal base and foot rails is a permanent piece of furniture in my basement and I could do other stuff with that space.

I've said each of the last few times I've hosted that if you want in you better get in because there was no guarantee it would ever happen again.

Yeah, no offense or anything but I'm not going to hold up a $5000-$8000 sale if there's a buyer. It's an extremely limited market, as I'm sure you can imagine.

I was trolling this response tbh. You should sell your chips at top dollar. There's nothing better that coming into an unexpected bounty like this.

I will host a poker game in a couple of months for real tho if y'all will have me.

I'm serious about coming to Utah tho. Maybe someone with a large home can host all of us morons?
