Election day!!!! Go vote!!!

I drove up to district 4 today and hung outside the polling stations in my wife beater and called everybody that would admit to not voting for Mia Love a racist and misogynist.
 
Voted. Mainly cuz I know a few folks running. Nothing big in NV is happening due to the vote.

If there was no L on the ballot I voted D. In Utah I don't feel like I even need to know anything about them, I just want to end the Rs stranglehold on state politics. Since it's pretty much automatic that the R will win the party officials pretty much pick all the winners.

And the lame *** ads that prey on our culture... Like Mia Love's ads:

"Hi, I'm a mom and obama doesn't endorse me. Haha. Run with me..."

She's an empty headed sucky mayor. But because she's colored and a woman the GOP has jumped all over her to make her elected. She brings nothing to the table other than her skin color and anatomy. She has received over $4 million in out of state funds. So I'm sure she's going to represent the west side of SL county about as well as Jason Chaffetz has "represented" me.

Yep. When I lived in California it was pretty much the other way around. I'd vote R just to do my part to balance things out. But California is nothing when it comes to single party domination. Utah may be the worst state in the Union. It breeds corruption and complacency.
 
Chaffetz is a special kind of dumb ***, disappointed but not surprised he got re-elected.

Very very happy Sim Gill won.

Now, the Senate needs to be smart and make Mitch McConnel a normal senator and choose somebody else to be majority leader. Too many clowns like Pelosi/McConnel/Reid get voted to be in the big PR positions. It's no wonder congress has a single digit approval rating.

Washington does suck but I agree with you in what do they really stand for?

This election was a choice between "DOWN WITH DC!" and "WAR ON ______!". Terrible.
